We collect the following information when you use Mahjong Score Tracker:

• Account information: Your email address and display name when you create an account.
• Game data: Session records, player names, round scores, and group information that you enter into the app.
• Usage data: Basic analytics about how the app is used, including pages visited and features used.
• Payment information: When you subscribe to Pro, payment is processed by Midtrans. We do not store your payment card details — Midtrans handles this securely.
• Device information: Device type, operating system, and browser type for technical support purposes.

3. How we use your data

We use your data to:

• Provide and operate the Mahjong Score Tracker service
• Sync your game data across devices in real-time
• Process your subscription payments
• Send you important service updates and account information
• Improve the app based on usage patterns
• Respond to your support requests

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.

4. Data storage and security

Your data is stored securely on Supabase, a PostgreSQL database hosted on secure cloud infrastructure. We use row-level security to ensure users can only access their own data. All data is transmitted over HTTPS.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is deleted within 30 days.

5. Sharing your data

We share your data with the following third-party services that are necessary to operate the app:

• Supabase — Database and authentication provider
• Midtrans — Payment processing for Pro subscriptions
• Vercel — Hosting and content delivery

All third-party providers are contractually required to protect your data and may not use it for their own purposes.

6. Group features and data visibility

When you join a Group in the app, other group members can see:

• Your display name
• Your online status
• Session scores in shared group sessions

Your email address is never visible to other users. You can leave a group at any time from your account settings.

7. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Export your data in a machine-readable format

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in to the app. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. No cookie consent banner is shown because we only use strictly necessary cookies.

Mahjong Score Tracker is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us immediately.
